Leek High School was the venue for this years Volleyball Competition, 6 teams competed with the results as follows:
1st – Waterhouses YFC 
2nd – Lichfield YFC 
3rd – Uttoxeter JNFU 
This years competition was held at PowerLeague, Stoke with over 100 members taking part in the male and female competitions. The results from the day were:
Male – 1st – Eccleshall YFC, 2nd – Uttoxeter A JNFU, 3rd – Leek YFC
Female – 1st – Stone YFC, 2nd – Eccleshall YFC, 3rd – Uttoxeter JNFU.
Despite the cold and wet weather 9 teams competed in the Dairy Stockjudging competition held bkp the Cotton Family. The results were:
1st – Uttoxeter A JNFU
= 2nd – Lichfield YFC & Waterhouses YFC

Droitwich High School, Worestershire was the location for this years WMA sports competitions day, 40 Staffordshire members took part and the results were:
Hockey:
Herefordshire 1st, Warwickshire 2nd, Staffordshire 3rd, Worcestershire 4th
Frisbee:
Warwickshire 1st, Shropshire A 2nd, Shropshire B 3rd, Hereford 4th, Worcestershire 5th, Staffordshire 6th
Dodgeball:
Staffordshire A 1st, Shropshire A 2nd, Staffordshire B 3rd, Hereford B 4th, Hereford a 5th, Worcestershire 6th
Jump Rope:
Staffordshire 1st, Worcestershire 2nd, Warwickshire 3rd, Hereford 4th, Hereford B 5th, Shropshire A 6th, Shropshire B 7th.
The WMA member of the year competition took place on Saturday 7th April, our Staffordshire members did us proud with the results as follows:
MOTY 18yrs & Over – 2nd – Imogen Bloxham (Eccleshall YFC), 6th – Johnny Wilson (Uttoxeter JNFU)
MOTY 17yrs & Under – 3rd – Megan Barnes (Leek YFC), 7th – Tom Gray (Lichfield YFC)
27 members from 9 clubs took part in this years Silage Competition, they travelled around three farms in the Hollington area finishing at The Farmers Arms, Withington for a well deserved carvery lunch. The results were:
1st – Uttoxeter JNFU, 2nd – Stone YFC, 3rd – Lichfield YFC

The Ball Haye Tavern, Leek kindly hosted the County Darts Competition for 2018, 8 Clubs entered with the results as follows:
1st – Stone YFC, 2nd Eccleshall, 3rd – Uttoxeter

9 Clubs travelled to Tenpin Stafford for the Pool Competition, with 18 teams taking part on the night the results were:
1st Chase A, 2nd Waterhouses, 3rd Uttoxeter B. Individual results – 1st, Jack Marton (Chase YFC), 2nd, Daniel Shelley (Waterhouses YFC), 3rd, Ewan Gilbert (Leek YFC).

This years Cookery Competition was held at Stramshall Village Hall with eight teams taking part, they all demonstrated fantastic culinary skills and the results were:
1st – Chase A, 2nd – Lichfield, 3rd – Chase B.
Chase A & Lichfield will represent Staffordshire at the NFYFC Cookery finals held at Malvern Autumn Show on Saturday 29th September 2018.

Calling all sheep shearing competitors at the Annual Rally!
You MUST have this certificate in order to compete. The £80 fee can be claimed back through the Staffs YFC training grants. Register your details no later than 30th March for a course to be arranged in YOUR area!
