Droitwich High School, Worestershire was the location for this years WMA sports competitions day, 40 Staffordshire members took part and the results were:
Hockey:

Frisbee:
Warwickshire 1st, Shropshire A 2nd, Shropshire B 3rd, Hereford 4th, Worcestershire 5th, Staffordshire 6th
Dodgeball:
Staffordshire A 1st, Shropshire A 2nd, Staffordshire B 3rd, Hereford B 4th, Hereford a 5th, Worcestershire 6th
Jump Rope:
Staffordshire 1st, Worcestershire 2nd, Warwickshire 3rd, Hereford 4th, Hereford B 5th, Shropshire A 6th, Shropshire B 7th.
The WMA member of the year competition took place on Saturday 7th April, our Staffordshire members did us proud with the results as follows:
MOTY 18yrs & Over – 2nd – Imogen Bloxham (Eccleshall YFC), 6th – Johnny Wilson (Uttoxeter JNFU)
MOTY 17yrs & Under – 3rd – Megan Barnes (Leek YFC), 7th – Tom Gray (Lichfield YFC)
For the #oatcakeontour four of the Ashley members decided to bike from the Chetwode Arms in Pipe Gate to the Lazy Trout in Leek 45km and with a little bit of bad map reading they ended up doing 54km. They raised £310 and with the amazing Pie, Pint, and Quiz the night before, which was a really good night enjoyed by all of the community we made £575.50 taking the total we raised to £885.50 for the Young Minds charity. This gives great kick start to the #oatcakeontour. Thank you everyone who helped out with special thanks to the Hampton family, Wright Pies and John and Kelly Slater.

27 members from 9 clubs took part in this years Silage Competition, they travelled around three farms in the Hollington area finishing at The Farmers Arms, Withington for a well deserved carvery lunch. The results were:
1st – Uttoxeter JNFU, 2nd – Stone YFC, 3rd – Lichfield YFC

The Ball Haye Tavern, Leek kindly hosted the County Darts Competition for 2018, 8 Clubs entered with the results as follows:
1st – Stone YFC, 2nd Eccleshall, 3rd – Uttoxeter

9 Clubs travelled to Tenpin Stafford for the Pool Competition, with 18 teams taking part on the night the results were:
1st Chase A, 2nd Waterhouses, 3rd Uttoxeter B. Individual results – 1st, Jack Marton (Chase YFC), 2nd, Daniel Shelley (Waterhouses YFC), 3rd, Ewan Gilbert (Leek YFC).
