Up until Thursday night the weather and the forecasts looked like this event could have been a washout, but the whole weekend turned out to be hot and sunny - ideal hay-making weather. Some people were even showing a little bit of fresh-tanned skin (or early stages of sunburn!). The heat certainly stretched the bar, which was near enough drunk dry.
